FrankEve is an independent organization, founded in 1998 by the Ghanaian couple Francisca and Evans. The organization is committed to helping young women and offers them a training to seamstress or cook. Alongside this training, the young women take classes in English, math, personal hygiene, HIV/AIDS and catering.
The school sets up practice lessons and internships, through which these women acquire all the skill they need to build a better future for themselves.
Early 2007, the classrooms and dormitories of FrankEve were in poor condition. Unfortunately there wasn’t enough money to finish a new building. Meet Kate was able to contribute to the finishing of those buildings and later provided the school with electricity so that these young women are fully able to focus on their study again. Partly because of our help, FrankEve is able to independently continue their beautiful work.
Since 2011, Meet Kate is advising FrankEve in the field of self-reliance, communication and volunteers.
